Alex V - I think your assessment is probably right. My own opinion is that he should go no matter what, narrow defeats or not. Waiting until Xmas If results are bad is suicide.
I fear for him because the defending is so shambolic - and it's been going on so long , if we look at the end of last season as well - that it's now like turning an oil tanker.

On current form we'll do well to get anything out of tomorrow, Calleri just isn't good enough, I feel a bit sorry for him because he tries but he's wasted every chance he's had and some have been decent.

Lose the next two without scoring and I think he's gone. Narrow defeats and I think he struggles on. A couple of wins and we'd forget there was ever a question mark.

I think it's also dependant on how we play. The last two league defeats were shocking, but we did play some decent attacking football in spells in both of them. But it goes both ways - the owners can't sit on their hands waiting for the results to match the best bits of the performances.

We'd have to fail to win any of our next six league matches and lose the majority of them for our owners to seriously consider firing Bilic.
I'm hopeful that we'll turn things around though starting with a 2-1 win tomorrow.

Bilic will be given at least until the end of the year before his job is at risk. But I'm not convinced he can easily turn it round such is the total incompetence and shambles of our defence, not helped at all with yet another injury. Worrying times indeed.

Boro and Soton loses will made a quarter of our home games gone against 'weaker' teams with only three points.
I can't stress enough how serious that is - he'd have to go.
For me, he MUST get four points from these next two games.

No, but Billic is close to having managerial gangrene. And the Boro and Soton game will tell us if it has set in.

I didn't realise that these two former West Ham Utd Managers had gangrene... News to me!
In your opinion, has Slaven Bilic got gangrene as well?

In reality most clubs outside the top 4 have a bad quarter of a season at some stage. The key question is do we have the ability or aptitude to stop the slide, and is the manager able to arrest it.
People far closer to the club than those that watch a few games need to make that decision.

You lot are insane. If we lose to Boro and Soton, he should get the bullet. No question.
Nearly quarter of the season gone and bottom having lost to a load of dross - and you'd want to keep him?
The lesson of Roeder and Grant is that the gangrenous leg must be chopped early before infection truly sets in.

Totally ridiculous. How short some of our memories are. Get behind the manager and the team. The media are painting a crisis, but it's really just a few bad games.
We need to be better than this as fans. We need Bilic to turn this round, not jettison And get in bed with another Allardyce. If Bilic and the team comes through this moment we'll be significantly better and stronger for it.

IMHO, there will be no managerial change until Christmas, whether you like it or not.
The team have the players to turn the season around. It is up to Slaven Bilic to do this. I believe he will succeed in doing so.
